Land flowing with Milk & Honey
milk and honey here are just what it is, however, there is so much that come into play before there can be production of any. the viable and conducive condition is what the promised land is able to offer.
Land flowing with milk and honey is simply a state of exceeding blessing, superfluity, overabundance that will provide opportunity for export Jer 41:8; Isaiah 7:22;Deut 8:8;11King 18:32;1Samuel 14:25:26; 11cro 31:5.
when Israelite got to the promised land. they still had to work for them to get the maximum benefit loaded in that land. Notwithstanding, it is a land that is conducive for better standard of living compare to the strictly irrigation method they are used to in the land of Egypt. there, before them is a fertile land where there will be rain and dew from above and big forest for availability of honey Jer 41:8.
there is free water now compare to the land of Nile. there is river from the ground and rain from above.
the animal can freely drink from this water without extra effort of digging the ground to provide them with water all round the year. so also , green pasture is now available freely everywhere for proper growth and development of their livestock.
total dependence on irrigation for food production now becomes a thing of the past. now.
And consequently, the manufacture of honey which is one of nature's most amazing processes whereby honeybees do all of the production work. Honey is a sweet syrupy substance produced by honeybees from the nectar of flowers and used by humans as a sweetener and a spread. Honey is comprised of 17-20% water, 76-80% glucose, and fructose, pollen, wax, and mineral salts. Its composition and color is dependent upon the type of flower that supplies the nectar.however , this is only made possible in the forest or bushy area 1Samuel 14:25:26; Song of Solomon 5:1
some of the great scientists like Aristotle who contributed immensely to the present day high standard of living are JEWS.
this in not unconnected with the blessing this people are carrying especially for those who know it and use it well among them.
the word , the anointing, the revelation for today may not work for tomorrow.
each day attracts its own blessing
as manna did not continue forever, even the land will not retain its fertility forever.
the simple reason for sabbath , even for the land.
the present day technology, has devises modern method to increase productivity of milk from animals and also meas of producing honey from honey bees.
God give us mind so that He will rest.
you and I have a role to play.
we must play our role dutifully.
we must carried out our obligation well,.
and the world will be a better place for us to live.
